Pasture Raised Chicken: Organs

Our chickens are shipped to our farm the day they hatch. They spend the first weeks of their lives in a brooder that mimics a mother hen until they feather up and are ready to go to pasture. They are then moved into our pasture pens that are moved daily to fresh grass. They get the benefits of being raised outside, doing what chickens love to do: scratch for worms, bugs & flies, take dust bathes, and bask in the mountain sunshine. Our meat birds are fed an organic non-GMO feed. Our laying birds are fed with a feed containing black fly larva protein to mimic a wild bird's diet.
